Joining
Who can join?
Anyone aged 18 or over, as an individual or a business, anywhere we can pay by bank transfer. You don't need to be a SprintReady customer. We may decline or close an account that breaks the
terms.
Does it cost anything?
No. There's no fee to join or to stay in, no minimum number of referrals and no targets.
Can my whole firm join?
Each partner account belongs to one person, and payments go to the account they give us, which can be a company account. If several people at your firm want their own links, each can join; agree between you who registers which introductions.
Referrals
How do I make sure a company is credited to me?
Use your referral link, give them your code to type into the sign-up form, or register an introduction in your partner account before they sign up. Any of the three works.
What if they sign up without my link or code?
If you registered an introduction for their company's domain in the last 180 days, they're credited to you automatically. If you didn't, email us: where it's clear the company came through you, we credit it by hand and its earlier payments in the 12 months still count.
What if two partners recommend the same company?
The link or code used at sign-up wins. If neither was used, the partner who registered the introduction first gets the credit. A company is only ever credited to one partner.
Can I refer my own company or my employer?
No. Referrals from your own email domain are held and checked, and nothing is paid on them unless we agree they're genuine.
Can I refer a company that's already a SprintReady customer?
No. Only companies that didn't already have a SprintReady account count.
What does the company see?
Your link opens a page saying you recommended us, and the sign-up form shows your code. We tell the company that we pay you a commission out of what they pay us, and that it costs them nothing extra.
Earnings
How much do I earn?
20% of everything the company pays us, excluding VAT, in its first 12 months as a paying client. On Professional that's about £1,980; a £399 credit pack earns £79.80; Enterprise from £9,000. See
Earnings.
When do the 12 months start?
At the company's first payment. The free trial doesn't use up any of your 12 months.
Does an upgrade count?
Yes. Every payment in the 12 months counts, whatever plan it's for: packs, Professional, Enterprise and top-ups.
What about refunds?
If we refund a company, the same share of your commission comes off automatically. If you've already been paid it, it comes off your next payout.
Is there a limit?
No limit on how many companies you refer.
Can I give my referrals a discount or a cut of my commission?
Not without agreeing it with us first in writing.
Getting paid
How and when am I paid?
By bank transfer in pounds, within 30 days of the end of each quarter, for the payments we received from your companies in that quarter. You'll get an email when your payout is prepared and again when it's sent, with a statement.
Is there a minimum?
Yes, £50. A smaller balance carries forward to the next quarter.
I'm outside the UK. Can you pay me?
Yes, to an IBAN, in pounds. Your bank may convert it.
What about VAT and tax?
Commission is worked out on what the company paid excluding VAT. If you're VAT registered, add your VAT number in your account and send us a VAT invoice for each statement: we pay the VAT on top. You're responsible for declaring your commission for income tax.
What if I change bank account?
Update it in your account. You'll need your password, and we email you every time it changes so you'd know if anyone else did it.
Your account and data
What can I see in my account?
Every company credited to you, its plan, when it started paying, every payment and your commission on it, what you've earned this quarter, every payout with a statement, and your introductions.
What do you tell me about the companies I refer?
Their company name, plan, when they started paying, and the payments your commission is worked out from. Never their documents, their users or anything inside their SprintReady account.
What do you do with my data?
We use it to run your partner account and pay you, as our
privacy policy explains. Payment records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, because the law requires it.
Can I leave?
Any time, from your account. Commission you've already earned is still paid on the normal schedule.
